About Arizona's Professional Car Seat Installation
Mission
At Arizona's Professional Car Seat Installation, our mission is to provide the community with car seat safety education and resources to support families in keeping their babies safe while traveling. Additionally, the organization aims to reduce serious injuries and deaths in car seat-aged children by 10% through expert Car Seat Placement Assistance and community outreach
Founder
Our Founder, Ernie Houston, is a certified car seat Instructor thru Safe Kids Worldwide. As a Father of 2, Ernie understands the importance of children riding safe and secure.
Ernie has 6 years of car seat installation knowledge and experience. Ernie also works full time as a Firefighter serving the City of Phoenix. Due to the number of fatal car accidents involving children that were either not riding in a car seat or the car seat was not being used properly, Ernie has a passion for making sure babies are safe while riding in vehicles.
Services
We offer a variety of services to support families that live in Maricopa County. Services Include:
- Drive-up car seat safety checks, safety inspections, and Car Seat Placement Assistance to ensure parents have the skills to safely secure children in vehicles.
- Additionally, we provide safety and educational workshops and trainings that are open to the community, empowering parents, and caregivers with valuable knowledge about car seat safety.
- Our mobile car seat safety checks make it convenient for families to access our services.

Safety Education
Know the Law: Arizona Child Restraint Requirements
Under A.R.S. § 28-907, it is required that:
- All children under five years of age must be properly secured in a child restraint system while a vehicle is in motion.
- Children who are at least five years old, under eight years old, and not more than four feet nine inches tall must be secured in a child restraint system.

- IN PASSENGER CARS, CAR SEATS REDUCE AN INFANT’S RISK OF FATAL INJURY BY 71%
- Road injuries are the leading cause of preventable deaths and injuries to children in the United States.
- Your baby needs to ride in a rear-facing car seat as long as possible until 2 or more years of age.
- While most parents and caregivers are confident that they have correctly installed their child’s car seat, almost half (46%), have been installed incorrectly
- For their safety, many kids 8 to 12 years old still need to use a booster seat. Make sure they ride in a booster seat until they outgrow the size limits of their booster, or until they are big enough for an adult seat belt to fit them properly. A properly fitting seat belt means: The shoulder belt lies snugly across the shoulder and chest, not crossing the neck or face. The lap belt lies snugly across the upper thighs, not the stomach.

Arizona’s Professional Car Seat Installation, doing business as Your Safe Baby, is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to providing free and low-cost car seat safety checks, education, and support to families in our community.
When you donate, you help us:
- Provide free car seat safety checks to parents and caregivers
- Replace damaged or expired car seats for families in need
- Train Child Passenger Safety Technicians (CPSTs) to serve underserved communities
- Offer CPR and First Aid education to help parents respond in emergencies
Every contribution—no matter the amount—makes a real difference in protecting children and empowering families.

Traveling with little ones can be stressful we make it easier and safer. Our Travel Service supports families arriving at or departing from Phoenix Sky Harbor International Airport (PHX). A Certified Child Passenger Safety Technician meets you at the airport or rental car center to ensure your child’s seat is placed safely and correctly.
Service Includes
- Meeting families at PHX Airport or Rental Car Center
- Proper car seat placement assistance
- Teaching safe installation techniques based on National Safety Standards
- Travel safety tips for infants, toddlers, and young children
- Support for personal or rented vehicles
Car Seat Rental Option (Optional Add-On)

Rental Pricing
- $35 per car seat per day
Refundable Security Deposit
To protect our inventory and ensure all seats are returned:
- $150 refundable deposit per car seat, held at the time of pickup/meet-up
- Deposit is fully refunded when the seat is returned on time, clean, and undamaged
Late Return Fee
- A $25 per day late fee will be deducted from the deposit for seats returned past the agreed return time.
